This is the story of two people.
Our friend Ferni (who is helping with all of this) says it’s about “contrast”. We certainly are yin-yang-light-dark, there’s no doubt about that. Lou sings to the birds and I have apocalyptic visions. But somehow it has to be more than that, because it’s easy enough for two people to take opposite sides. This is about the space where we come together, where for a brief moment we suspend differences and act in unison. I hope somehow it means something, that it’s beautiful.
This is blacky. He was our companion making this record. This record was made at La Masia music labs outside of Bareclona. This record is not really a record as such, because I’m not sure that anybody gives a shit about “records” anymore. But I know that Blacky is great and is always up for a walk through the Spanish countryside.
