Written around the time of the 2024 US election, American Refugee explores the depths of despair when looking into the dystopian, deportation-filled future promised by the second Trump presidency.  Can we protect each other from the coming storm?  Who will be safe from men in uniform kicking down the doors?   Where on earth is this world going, and is there any way we can stop the mob-with-pitchforks frommaking another massive and tragic mistake?
