Loosely borrowed from the chord structures of Armenian and Jewish folk music, In Between is the first song written by Ben and sung by Louise. The recording started in an airbnb in Johannesburg and was worked on in a studio there in South Africa (I think we got bass and guitars there), our home studio in San Francisco and again at La Masia outside Barcelona. Lyrically the song is vague. Is it a cheating song? Simply about finding oneself in an untenable position? Just about change? Hard to say.

In my heart is an intimate window into the inner world of someone in love. This song speaks to the security that love brings even when it is not physically near. In My Heart is about: the simplicity of feelings, walking on this earth with confidence, the feeling of restful sleep, the security of being with the one you love, holding them in your heart.
